Byblos souks are one of the most famous traditional souks of Lebanon and the most visited. With different shops filled with Lebanese traditional souvenirs and cultural artifacts, you can also visit different restaurants that serve a variety of food and cuisine.
Among the most important tourist spots of Byblos is the Old Souk . The Old Souk is an old marketplace, built on an old Roman road during the Ottoman reign. It is beautifully restored, consisting of small local shops that sell souvenirs of the city and other heritage sites of Lebanon, local crafts and handmade gifts. There are also cozy bars and outdoor cafes along the walk, waiting for you to go in. The scene shifts from day to night. At night, the place changes and most bars look like a dream venue for a night out. People sometimes go there just for a walk in the alleys of the souks, as it takes you back millions of years ago. The charm of this place will keep you coming back for more.
